Eric N.
Private tutor in Rowland Heights, CA
Education
Graduated in September 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from University of California, San Diego. Graduated from Walnut High School in 2012
Experience
My tutoring experience consists of helping many of my college classmates and friends through Structural Mechanics, Mathematics (Algebra, Calculus), and Physics. I have also coached youth basketball for two years. I mainly like tutoring math because I believe it helps people visualize the world differently. When we see something happen, we can explain why that event occurred in that specific manner by using math. I have taken AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Biology, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Human Geography, and AP Computer Science at Walnut High School. At UCSD, my courses mainly consisted of Physics (Mechanics, Electricity/Magnetism, Waves/Optics, etc), Math (Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Vector Calculus, etc), and Structural Engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Solid Mechanics, Structural Analysis, etc) I have worked as a design engineer at an architectural firm for one year where I had to apply engineering concepts to real-world problems.
